MUNNAR - 2 nights & 03 days

DAY01: ARRIVE COCHIN - MUNNAR
Morning pick up from Cochin airport/Conference venue and transfer to Munnar (around 3 ½ to 4 Hour drive). Enroute stop at Cheeyappara waterfalls for a break.

Munnar is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, and it is a hill station - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Set at an altitute of 6000ft in idukki district, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains forests - aroma of spice scented cool air - yes! Munnar has all these and more.

On arrival check in to your hotel and relax. Afternoon visit tea factory museum. Later you will visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo point. You can enjoy a speed boat ride at the artificial lake at Mattupetty.

DAY 02: MUNNAR
Morning after a leisurely breakfast, proceed Eravikulam National Park.

Eravikulam National Park: A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the NilgiriTahr. The Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq km in the Rajamalai hills. Anamudi, the highest peak (2695 m) south of the Himalayas, towers over the sanctuary in majestic pride. The slopes of the hills abound in all kinds of rare flora and fauna. The Atlas moth, the largest of its kind in the world, is a unique inhabitant of the park. Other rare species of fauna found here are the NilgiriLangur, the lion-tailed macaque, leopards, tigers, etc.

Rest of the day free for shopping and independent activities.

DAY 03: MUNNAR - DEPART COCHIN
Morning after breakfast, checkout and transfer to Conference venue/Cochin airport.
