Guidelines for e-Poster presentation

  1. e-Posters are similar to traditional paper posters, but displayed on onsite e-Poster stations. Please note that there will not be any provision to display physical posters at ANCIPS 2024.
  2. The screen time provided to a particular poster would be a maximum of 30 minutes. The presenting author is requested to make it convenient to remain at the site of his/her poster presentation throughout that stipulated time. The date, time and screen number will be intimated to the author via email.
  3. The posters should be created using Microsoft PowerPoint in landscape orientation, one slide only, which should be in 16:9 ratio.
  4. Total size of the presentation should not exceed 20 MB, ideally following the design of the template which can be downloaded from the website. The text should include (most likely as separate elements of the poster) Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgments.
  5. The poster should be set out in a clear and logical manner, with reading matter reduced to an essential minimum. Lettering, including figure legends, labelling, symbols & graphs etc., should be large enough to be legible when viewed on a 50" screen. Drawings, diagrams and photos are extremely helpful and often necessary to display results and conclusions. Make sure that your illustrations are easy to understand. Do not overload any chart or drawing with information.
  6. Recommended Font Sizes and Styles: You should use dark text colours on a light background, or vice versa. Recommended fonts are Calibri, Verdana and Arial as these are easy to read and it’s possible that other fonts may have cross-operating system display issues. Title: 50 - 60pt (font size), although if you have a long title, you may find you need to use a slightly smaller font size. Authors and institutions: 30 - 36 pt. Main text: 32 - 36 pt. References / Bibliography: 24 - 32 pt. Videos & animations are not allowed in your poster.
  7. Illustrations / images / photographs used in the E-poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details.
  8. We request all the delegates to be on time at the venue of presentation.
  9. The Certificates will only be given to the participants who are physically presenting their poster at the conference. We suggest you to carry your identity cards along with your delegate badge.
  10. Presenters of e-Posters are requested to send their presentation files by email to amaudiovisualsoffice@gmail.com at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
